With keen support from the government and relevant authorities, the hospital development team from Washington D.C. , Singapore and Myanmar has spent 4 years from ground-to-earth planning to put the hospital into action with latest specifications of a modern hospital. The resultant product now is a three storiey Medical Services Building and a four storey Nursing Ward with a total floor area of 21,000 sq. metres comprising 6 operating theatres, a designated delivery suite with 4 normal labour suites and 2 caesarian section theatres, 9 ICU rooms, a modern imaging suite and a laboratory equipped with some of the most updated testing equipment amongst many other facilities. The hospital will have 95 beds in the initial stage with the capacity to expand more in the future.

A group of highly dedicated physicians and specialists from Myanmar and overseas together with a professional team of nurses headed by internationally trained nursing managers are the core group of medical staff in PHIH to assure the highest standards of care to each of the patients.
