Myanmar Suzuki Motor is four-party joint-venture with Myanma Automobile and Diesel Engine Industries under the Ministry of No.2 Industry, Suzuki Motor Corporation ( Japan ), Toyota Tsusho Corporation and First Myanmar Investment Company Limited (FMI). The company was inaugurated in November 1998 and production started after a year with Semi-Knock-Down (SKD) facility and the upgrade to Complete-Knock-Down (CKD) production facility was finished in September 2000. Currently, Myanmar Suzuki manufactures two types of automobile vehicles and one model of motorcycle, which are Wagon R+ (SR 410), Super Carry Truck (SK 410) and Viva (FD 110).
